    Our Emergency First Aid at Work + Sport course is ideal for anyone involved in sport who also needs a recognised workplace first aid qualification. This 7-hour, FAIB-accredited course combines the nationally recognised Emergency First Aid at Work content with an additional hour focused specifically on managing sports-related incidents.

    This course is aimed at coaches, PE teachers, sports volunteers, club and gym staff, sports players and instructors. The course equips you with the essential skills to respond confidently in both workplace and sporting environments.

    The course combines theory with hands-on practical skills and real-life scenarios, all delivered in a supportive and friendly environment. We offer public courses as well as bespoke, private group courses that can be tailored to the needs and schedule of your organisation or setting - please contact us to book.

    There is a small element of e-learning prior to the course to enable us to spend more time in scenarios during the training.

    Our 3-hour Basic First Aid for Sport course is designed specifically for coaches, volunteers, teachers and anyone involved in grassroots or community sport who wants essential first aid knowledge without the need for a full qualification.

    Available exclusively in Wales, this practical and engaging course provides a focused introduction to managing injuries and emergencies commonly encountered in sporting environments.

  • WP First Aid is regulated by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB). All FAIB certificates are recognised by HSE and Department for Education/OFSTED Inspectors. The FAIB quality managment system holds third party Certification via UKAS and operates under the standards required for ISO 9001 (2015).

    The FAIB are one of the founding members of the First Aid Quality Partnership (FAQP), a body that includes representation from HSE, the Resuscitation Council (UK), the Voluntary Aid Societies and from OFQUAL, SQA as well as Fire, Police and Ambulance. WP First Aid meets the Quality Assurance standards published by the FAQP.
